About the Facilitator:
As a traumatic brain injury and P.T.S.D. survivor, Angie Davis understands the healing and transformative power of yoga firsthand. Yoga supported Angie in recovering from the physical injuries of an accident and, more importantly, also helped her shift mentally from a constant state of debilitating anxiety to a peaceful, meaning-filled life…pose by pose and breath by breath.
Armed with this unique understanding of trauma and P.T.S.D. and fueled by a deep desire to be of service to those on a recovery journey, Angie specializes in teaching yoga and meditation for your healing and spiritual paths. She is an elementary school teacher and a 200-hour certified yoga teacher. Angie is also a Level 1 iRest® Yoga Nidra Teacher and offers this research-based, complementary therapy that has been proven helpful for P.T.S.D., anxiety, sleep difficulties, and other issues to her private and group clients. She is also trained in Mental Health Sensitivity and is a certified Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher.
Angie knows that your yoga mat is a breathing room for you, it creates space for you to surrender your head to your heart so you can live moment to moment from your authentic self. She is truly grateful and honored to be a part of your health and wellness journey while visiting BC.
