Giving Back

Giving back to the Community

In my early twenties for NYE, I went to a sold out Tragically Hip show. Feeling the rush of emotion from the music and the energy of almost 19,000 people, I declared to a friend ‘I am going to affect positive change in this many people in my lifetime’ with the biggest grin on my face. She smiled back, gave me a hug and said ‘I know you will Annie’. And the journey began.

Change begins within yourself. And then you start in your own backyard. This is why a dedicated portion of each for-profit workshop will be donated to non-profits that are near and dear to my heart. When you invest in yourself, you invest in your community and commit to helping others.

The following are local charities and groups that I have personally invested volunteer time and wish to continue giving back through donations and aid to those who cannot financially afford to invest in personal development.

Kidsport Squamish believes that no kid should be left on the sidelines and all should be given the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of organized sports. We raise funds in the community to help achieve our mission: removing the financial barriers so that all children can participate in sports programs.
